Buhle Booi is the Head of Political Organising and Campaigns at Ndifuna Ukwazi (NU), an urban land justice organisation in Cape Town. Growing up in one of South Africa’s most unequal cities, Buhle began his activism with Equal Education (EE), focusing on social justice. His work spans various struggles, from education to addressing apartheid-era spatial planning. Committed to grassroots activism, Buhle believes in solutions driven by those most affected and centres meaningful solidarity through an intersectional approach to the struggle for social justice.
