Community organising & movement support

We provide community organising support to families, communities and social movements fighting for access to land and housing by providing rights-based popular education, strengthening local leadership structures and leadership capacity, building solidarity among communities and social movements facing similar challenges, and encouraging greater community participation to address their collective struggles.

Security of Tenure

The objective of this programme is to ultimately secure long term tenure rights for the landless and homeless. This programme compliments equitable access to land and resisting evictions, in ensuring that each and every citizen feels safe and secure in what they call home.

Resisting evictions & displacement

We defend the land and housing rights of poor and working class people living with insecure tenure or who are at risk of eviction and displacement through our housing law clinic, solidarity building through an advice assembly, popular rights-based education with communities and tenants, and amplifying struggles through targeted campaigns.
