CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS – TRANSCRIPTION SUPPORT
Narrative Project Initiative
Putting narrative justice in the hands of women who tell their own stories.
We support women to own, shape, and benefit from their narratives—rather than having their experiences taken and interpreted by others.
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with transcription for an upcoming project.
We are seeking speakers of:

Afrikaans

Setswana
-
English
Requirements:

Fast and accurate typing skills
-
Available 5 hours per week
-
Present for the entire project timeline (July – November 2026)

Previous experience in communication and transcription
Commitment:

In-person (Cape Town CBD): Once a week – 3 hours

Remote: 2 hours during the week

Must be available for the full duration of the project
Location: Cape Town CBD
Project Duration: July – November 2026
